With some awesome weather all week, the water was due to be pretty clear, until reasonable winds picked
up friday afaternoon, leaving a few protected places, such as Flinders Peir.
Was not too bad, lots of small fish to play with, videos soon too!
Local dive again, this time to help out a marine group with a fish count, although
turned more into a photo hunt after some words from a local photographer. Got some nice shots.
highlight of course being the big jellyfish. Managed to get a nice video of it.
Actually got some gear together with a good day, and got under water for an extended
period of time, 92 minutes to be exact. Was alot of fun, lots to see down at Blairgowrie
yacht club due to the break water concrete wall that forms most of the dock. Heaps to see
and i did a bunch of happy snapping, complete with some comical fun with Jonny it made a
good day for shiz. Check out the new videos too.
Today was hotter than hot, but of course with a northerly wind and the sun
shinning it made for a sweet day in the water. A little extra excitment heading in
as another diver had seen a Bronze Whaler the day before in the same area, but
alas, it was not to be seen today. Acompanied by my good friend Kat, we managed to still
get some good shots, and had some fun in the sun.
Awesome day for it, warming up to 34degrees, sun was out. School of
Zebra fish very friendly trying to get their photo taken, sweet conditions.
New photos added, also Video!
70% of the worlds surface is covered in water.
So of course it is no wonder people want to see what is underneath it.
Although a lot of spectacular diving is done in quite exotic places such as
the great barrier reef, there is certainly a lot of fantastic diving to be
done in other places, that sometimes do not appear to be as exotic, but
can supply some superb diving. Melbourne is one such place, as about 90% of marine
life found in Port Phillip Bay, is not found, anywhere else in the world.
Cheers.
